Blood Orange Upside-Down Cake
A showstopper dessert that captures the best of winter citrus. The yogurt base keeps it incredibly moist.
Ingredients
- 3 blood oranges, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 2 eggs
Instructions
- Arrange orange slices in a buttered and sugared cake pan.
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and yogurt.
- Fold in dry ingredients. Pour batter over oranges.
- Bake at 350°F for 40-50 mins.
- Invert onto a plate while warm.
